Episode 1 companion- Vol. 2

Hello everyone who is either reading this shortly after it's been posted, or folks that are late arrivals to the Beyond The Veil podcast and are catching up on the older pods. Mr. B here, I just wanted to add a couple of links and whatnot that go along with this weeks episode of the show. I can't speak for the Byrnes brothers, but I am fond of calling these posts that go with the episodes, "companions." I will try to put these things in the order they were mentioned or showed up in episode 1, but forgive me if it's not perfect. It's been a few days since I've heard the episode and lots of shit was mentioned, so yeah, you understand.

Any who.... these are the two television shows we mentioned this week.

The first show mentioned was Fringe, which airs on Fox on Friday nights at 8pm central time.

The second show mentioned was Supernatural. Which also airs on Friday nights at 8pm on The CW. Thank god for DVR's! This show is one our favorite shows. It's fucking awesome! It has lots of cool supernatural creatures and lore. Tons of funny moments and has a lot of heart. Not to mention, great fucking storytelling! It's currently in it's 7th season, so go catch up on the first 6 season and the first part of the 7th season, trust me, you will not regret it!

We also mentioned, and I read from, the book The Minnesota Road Guide to Haunted Locations by Chad Lewis & Terry Fisk. This is a cool book, and if you're not from MN(which by our download tracker, in the first few days the ep has been up, we have a lot of downloads from Nebraska, which is fucking awesome) they also have books about many other states, especially ones in the midwest. I'm posting the link to amazon page, they are pretty cheap, so if you're interested, buy one for your state, either from amazon, local bookstore, or Barnes & Noble(since Borders in now gone, which makes me sad).

And last, since I thought it was very fitting to put at the end of the show. Here is the video of the full sketch from The Whitest Kids You Know. The show isn't on anymore :( but you can see re-airings on IFC.

Well, that's all folks, for now at least. Enjoy the episode. I'm off the record episode 2!
